Pow Wow is an annual evening of entertainment and laughter held on the night before FSU's Homecoming football game. Appearances by special FSU performers entertain the audience and the evening culminates with an unforgettable performance by a well-known comedian. Attend Pow Wow to witness the crowning of Florida State’s Homecoming Chief and Princess, along with the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each Homecoming category.

Ticket Information

General public tickets and student tickets go on sale Friday, October 4th at 12 PM.

FSU students with valid FSU Card will receive free admission once receiving a wristband at the banding site on the day of the event and are limited to one (1) general admission or floor band per student card.

Discounted student tickets will also be available online for FAMU and TCC students at tuckerciviccenter.com with valid school ID and are limited to one (1) ticket per student ID using respective codes ‘FAMU’ or ‘TCC’ at check out and are $32.00.

General Public tickets will be $42.00 and Reserved Seating tickets will be $52.00, also at tuckerciviccenter.com.

Banding on Landis Green and the Civic Center Plaza from 10 AM - 1 PM for FSU students only. Banding on the Civic Center plaza continues from 4 - 7 PM during the Pow Wow Pre-Show.

Prohibited Items in the Civic Center for Pow Wow

All ticket holders and their belongings may be searched upon entry into stadium. If ticket holders elect not to consent to the searches they will be denied entry into the stadium without refund.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

  • Alcohol or illegal drugs
  • Weapons or explosives
  • Food or beverage from outside the Civic Center
  • Coolers or containers, including cans, cups and bottles
  • Bags larger than 12” x 6” x 12”
  • Backpacks
  • Artificial noisemakers (whistles, bells, air horns, etc.)
  • Video equipment, tape recorders, cameras with lenses longer than 6”
  • Sticks, poles, flags or signs
  • Laser pointers
  • Laptops
  • Pets (except special service animals)
  • Skateboards
  • Beach balls or other airborne objects

Additional items may be prohibited at the discretion of the law enforcement officials as dictated by increased threat conditions.

About Pow Wow

FSU’s Homecoming Pow Wow, sponsored by the Student Government Association, is an annual evening of entertainment and laughter held on the night before Florida State University’s Homecoming football game. Since the inaugural 1948 pep rally, Pow Wow has evolved into a full night of events. Hosted by the voice of the Seminoles, Mr. Gene Deckerhoff, Pow Wow features performances by the FSU cheerleaders, the Golden Girls, the Flying High Circus, the Marching Chiefs, and various other student organizations.

Pow Wow culminates with a headlining comedian.
