Those who choose to attend will have the opportunity to enjoy a 5 to 10-minute fireworks display that will conclude the first Homecoming event of the week and commence the beginning of Florida State’s “Channeling Tradition” celebration.

FSU Homecoming Council wants to bring attention to this event to ensure the safety and comfort of both those attending the events and students living near Landis Green as well as staff in the surrounding area. Loud noises and bright lights will be expected, as well as smoke smells and clouds.

This event will be in a safe and controlled environment and all appropriate safety measures have been addressed. With safety in mind, FSUPD would like to remind everyone there are inherent risks associated with pyrotechnics, so please use extreme caution and follow all safety guidelines provided by event staff.
